Do I need to fast before the draw?

Yes — at least 10 hours fasting (water only). Fasting insulin and lipids require this for accurate readings. Schedule your draw for early morning when possible.

How long do results take?

CP-01 and CP-02 land in your portal within 3–10 business days of the draw. CP-03 (specialty labs) takes 4–6 weeks due to advanced sequencing.

Will insurance cover this?

No. RenuviaMD® BioAxis™ is a cash-pay practice — we don't bill insurance. HSA and FSA funds can be used with a letter of medical necessity, which we provide on request.

I already have recent labs from another provider. Can I use those?

Yes — if they're within the last 6 months and include the markers we need. Upload them in your intake and Dr. Falcon will assess what's missing. You may only need CP-02 or CP-03 add-ons.

Do I need to be a Florida resident?

No. You need to be physically located in Florida at the time of your telemedicine visit with Dr. Falcon. Snowbirds, tourists, and business travelers in Florida all qualify. Florida licensing rules follow the patient's location during the encounter — not state of residence.

What if my lab results show a problem?

That's the point. Discovery catches what you don't know. If results show contraindications to a peptide protocol, Dr. Falcon will redirect to a safer plan or refer to a specialist when appropriate. The consult is yours regardless of what we find.

Can I order labs without a consult?

Yes — the Discovery Labs option ($295) is lab-only with results delivered to your portal. But interpretation matters: most patients benefit from at least the $495 Discovery Consult so Dr. Falcon can walk you through what your numbers mean.
